Schoen Place Festivities – Celebrate the Seneca Chief
Join us at Schoen Place on Sunday, September 28, from approximately 12:00–2:00 PM as the Seneca Chief and its accompanying flotilla dock in Pittsford for a special Bicentennial celebration!
Festivities will include:

A spirited performance by the Pittsford Fire Department Band

Presentation of colors by the Rayson Miller Post 899 Color Guard and Boy Scouts

Remarks from public officials honoring this historic occasion

The announcement of Dock Decorating Contest winners

The ceremonial departure of the Seneca Chief (scheduled for 1:45–2:00 PM)
In addition, tours of participating boats will be available to the public, coordinated through Cornhill Navigation, offering a unique chance to step aboard and experience canal history firsthand.
