Bike Safety at Schoen Place

A message to our bicycling friends: Due to the State Street Bridge detour we are seeing a significant increase in auto and truck traffic on Schoen Place right now. We are aware of safety concerns when following the bike boulevard. We ask you to, please, remember to walk your bike on the canal path between N. Main and State Streets. Also, please be mindful of the presence of pedestrians. 

 

We are grateful to have a village where so many people love to bike, roll and walk! We look forward to the State Street Bridge opening again soon and appreciate your patience!
