Words from the Mayor

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

My thanks go to all of you who reached out to support my recent campaign. For those who did not support me I will work diligently to earn your trust going forward.

I ran on creating a new chapter for our village. But, as we all know, you cannot write the next chapter in the story without reading the chapters that came before.

We must look to the stewardship of so many past leaders who protected the very best of our village. Specifically, we must recognize Bob Corby’s lifetime of work in historic preservation.

While we will continue to enjoy and share the visible results of his perseverance and dedication throughout our village for years to come, we have an opportunity to build upon what was good, identify what we can improve, and work together, to shape a future and a quality of life that includes everyone.

I am proud to be your next Mayor; my door is always open. I am ready to listen to and engage with our community and, most of all, I am excited to get to work!
