JoAnne Shannon

Jo Anne and her husband, Richard, live in the village in a house her grandparents bought in the early 1920s. She grew up in that house, and she and Richard raised their two children there as well. She worked as a medical secretary, office manager, and bookkeeper for a doctor's office in the village until 1998 and since then has worked as office manager for another doctor in the village. She has also served as secretary on the Historic Pittsford Board of Directors for the last two decades. "Over the years I have been lucky enough to walk to almost everywhere I needed to go - school, work, shopping. It's important to me to keep the integrity of the community to the scope of the small village I have lived in my whole and life and hope to see continue as such."  Current Term of Office (2021-2026)

Kathleen Hoppin

Katie grew up on the Jersey Shore and moved to Rochester in 2002 after graduating from law school. She bought her first house in Pittsford in 2004 and since then she loved the character and culture of the Village. In 2013, she bought a historic house on South Street, which she adored.  She and her son, Thomas, would still be living there today, except she met her husband, Erik, just days after moving in and he and his 3 kids just would not fit! Katie and her family now live just outside the Village on Sunset Boulevard in a home they have renovated to bring back to its 1930's roots.  Katie and Erik can be found frequently walking to Starbucks, Book Culture, the Pub, Label 7, and, of course, Thirsty's. Katie holds a B.A. from Villanova University where she graduated cum laude, and a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. She is an attorney at Torres Law Office, P.C., where she focuses her practice on elder law.  Current Term of Office (2022-2027)
