Welcome to Pittsford

Pittsford is a historic Erie Canal village, located seven miles southeast of Rochester in western New York. This small village, with a population of 1500 persons and an area of approximately three quarters of a square mile, has been remarkably successful in maintaining its distinctive small town character and quality of life despite the rapid growth of the surrounding suburban area.



The Village of Pittsford Board of Trustees elections will be held on March 20th, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Village Hall (21 N. Main Street). One Village Board position will be up for contention.

The following proposition will be on the March 20th ballot:



Shall Local Law 2 of 2018, adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Pittsford on the 9th day of January, 2018, authorizing not-for-profit organizations to conduct games of chance for charitable purposes within the territorial limits in the Village of Pittsford upon obtaining a license therefore from the Board of Trustees of the Village of Pittsford be approved?

**The Village would like to remind everyone that there is no overnight parking (2:00 AM to 6:00 AM) in the Village from November 1st to April 15th. Snow plowing will be occurring during this time and the safety of residents and Village staff are of the utmost importance. Village parking officials and the Monroe County Sheriff's department will be actively ticketing violators.**
